Only time ...

HANYA MASA YANG MENENTUKAN

Tiada siapa yang mampu menyatakan
kemana arah hidup ini.
Tiada siapa yang tahu
sekiranya cinta ini akan kekal abadi.
Dan jika hati ini
menangis rindu mengingati mu.

Adakah perjalanan kita ini
Akan bertemu di satu titik pertemuan

Atau Kita akan menghala kearah yang berlainan
Hanya masa menentukan

Trust ...

KEPERCAYAAN

Walau apa pun saya bersyukur kerana Allah masih lagi menyayangi kita.
Di berikan sedikit pertolongan sebelum terlewat.

Pedih rasa nya untuk meyakin kan diri ini.

PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE .......

PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE .......

March 14th 2006
Bahrain

Staying here at this work place ..we have to learn "PATIENCE" all the time.We have to learn to exercise patience and be grateful for whatever God has given us.Time and time again, I feel like throwing it in..run amok and tell them off.But I cant..I simply cant.So I just pray to God and hope that these people will at least lern a bit of civic and etiquette.Having some people around who are not sensitive of religious issues are really a pain the chest.

First group:
THE SMOKERS

These are the culprits who do not have a brain. They NEVER ever consider their colleagues who are allergic to smoke.Sadly for us who do not smoke are exposed to smokes and become second hand smokers...!! Which is actually even worse. They exhale..and we inhale...Even the receptionist smokes at her desk.So..what kind of image is the boss trying to potray here..when a client walks in... see the receptionist smoking and chatting on the phone. Is this a mamasan place..?

Second group:
THE DIE HARD **** EATING PEOPLE

They do not care if they are having guests or people who are eating with them are Muslims and do not take ****Once I attended a dinner, where one of them prepared spring rolls... but with **** as the filling, and serve them together with other food. After that incident I stopped attending their dinner invitation.
They just have no respect for other people. Its their upbringing, lack of sensitivity and lack of knowledge of certain things. And they just refused to learn. They can condemned the Muslims, but the funny thing is, what are you doing here in a Muslim country ? They talk bad about the people and the country ... but the money is good. There was a saying ...these people would kill each other..even their own family for the sake of money.

Third group:
THE BITCH

There was one here. Oh boy..did she make life miserable...!!! This is another one who would do anything to despise you. She will do anything that she want and never think about the people around her. As long as she gets what she wants. She turned the apartment like back alley. An insensitive numb skull. ( Speaks for itself actually..the skull is numb..so how could it be sensitive any longer..!! )

WHAT I HAVE LEARNT:

Bear with it. After all they are still the boss and they are the ones who pay your salary. A pity though..that you have to work with idiots.
WHAT I ALWAYS PRAY AND HOPE:
That things will change and it gets into their head about understanding and respecting other people's religion and religious believes.
I have faith...that GOD will answer my hopes and prayers. All I want is a peaceful place to earn a living.

... INSYAALLAH...

A YEAR SINCE .......

Friday February 24th 2006
Bahrain

Another friday weekend here. Been a while since I wrote anything.Last wednesday night it suddenly rained, not a heavy one but still ..rain... which is not normal here. It is almost never rain in Bahrain. It continued to rain till thursday morning.Maybe it is a good omen.

Anyway ... today... it is a year since my dear brother left us so suddenly. I really missed him a lot.Al fatihah.Semuga Allah mencuri rahmat keatas rohnya dan ditempatkan ditempat orang yang beriman.Eversince that fateful day, I have been trying to recall all and everything that I could remember about him. Thats all that I have right now. Memories. Only memories. The last image that I had of him was when he was waving goodbye, when I was leaving the house to come back to Bahrain. He was standing the verandah with my mother that evening.Little that I know that was the last time that I would see his face. If I only knew...!!!

The first memory of him that I remember was when he was helping me to ride my bicycle... He was like a father figure to me eversince my father died when I was 10 yrs old.I owe it to him for all that I have right now.

THE EPITOME OF EVIL

THE EPITOME OF EVIL
Evil ways appear in many forms and shapes. Here we have a pretty face that triggers the male testosterone.
When she first joined us as a colleague, we were quite excited at having another asean face and were looking forward to sharing some traditional thai recipes. Most of us love thai spicy food...
It all started quite nicely in the first couple of days before it turned out to be nightmares for most of us.She was "extremely" sociable. To the extent it became questionable. As the days progressed it came to light her true self.It became the battle of power.A colleague resigned because of her. And another died.
And yours truly have the benefits of having her as a housemate.
The first incident was her playing her musics overly loud.I didnt complain. But she did ask if her music is disturbing us. There are four of us in the apartment. So I said it is up to the discretion of an individual...respecting everyone as an adult to be able to determine the comfort level of everyone, without disturbing one's space and rights.I was still trying to be cordial.
Another housemate found a kitten by the road side and took him home. She asked me if she could keep the kitten in her room.Being a cat lover I said yes...and I ended being the "godmother" to the cat...and sometimes...cat-sitting too. But I dont mind..since I love cats.
Then the "bathroom" story surfaced.
We have to share the bathroom and she thought the bathroom cleanses itself. And again yours truly have to bear the burden of cleaning the bathroom every weekend...Then she complained that one bathroom is not enough..when she feels the need to use the bathroom. So I took the way out and let her use the bathroom alone and I use the smaller bathroom. She told me to take out my washing machine... and she put in her washing machine in the bathroom.
Next is the dog story...
She went back to her homecountry for a vacation and came back with a dog. Without having the courtesy of asking if she can keep a dog in her room, knowing very well that some people in the apartment are Muslims. I was livid. Then the cold war began. It is a small dog... I dont care what breed it is...still a dog.She now conquers the apartment with her ways and means.A nice clean apartment has now turned to be like a back alley one room flat. Litters... mess...and you dont feel like coming into the apartment.Going home time is a chore for me, since I have to pass by her room. I stopped using the pantry since thats where she washes her plates and stuffs. The other Muslim girl seemed to have zipped her lips and closed both eyes and deafened her ears... since they are buddies.
I have brought this matter up to the bosses's attention but they seemed not to care. They are not sensitive to the needs of the staff. They failed to acknowledge that this is a Muslim country and they know that dog is forbidden in a Muslim household.
How do you talk to an ignorant individual ?
So... I am fighting this battle alone.
Only God knows what is in my heart. I pray He would show the way. I have suffered because of this and everyday is day full of hatred and it is not helping me at all.
She wants to have everything her way..and what she wants she gets. And she must have whatever benefits that someone else has eventhough she is not entitled to it.
Another colleague asked me to be patience and channeled my energy to something more useful. Let go of all the hatred.Well..he can say that..because he is not staying with a "dog" in his apartment. He can do everything and move freely without feeling "waswas"...
My friends...
Please give me some ideas and advice... what to do in this situation.I have a limitation here... I do not wish to move out of the apartment since I cannot afford to stay at another place. This apartment is provided by the employer and I am have been staying there the longest.
I feel like she is an intruder and having no courtesy and respect for the others.
So... where does respect and tolerance begins...?
Do you need to respect someones space...
Do you need to tolerate someones actions...
And where does your "rights" begins... ???

The first day of 2006

January The First 2006
Sunday

Its the first day of another new year.
We went for breakfast at the Crown Plaza this morning.
Just the eight of us.
Was supposed to attend the gathering at level five last night but
just didnt feel like going.
So I had a quiet evening to reminisce.
