Christmas is here again

December 23rd 2006
Budaiya

I didnt put up a Christmas tree this year. I guess with all the wet and rainy days, has dampened my Xmas spirit a bit.
Still this morning I played my favourite Xmas songs by Boney M. And memories flew back to a time when some of those people were in my life.
Xmas always brings back memories of "L" whom has gone out of my life, since I left for Singapore. There were moments when you just cant erase from your mind.
We were having dinner just before he left to do his masters, and it was Xmas time. So it was natural that they were playing Xmas songs in the background. That was a special moment, in love and about to miss his presence in my life.
From then on I would play Xmas songs when Xmas comes, which led to another funny incident. There was a group of guys/gals carolling in the neighbourhood. When they heard me playing the Xmas songs, they stopped over,I came out out onto my balcony and saw them, carolling inf front of my gate. That was beautiful.
Those were the days when I was sharing with a few housemates in Damansara. Everyone has gone their own ways, doing very well in life no doubt.

Christmas in Singapore were celebrated differently. End of the year was normally a time to shop and shop and feast on food and the Orchard Road light up.

And now in Bahrain, its totally different. Quiet and it was not even a public holiday.
But we often have our own Xmas eve off day since mostly everyone is in Xmas mood.

Time is changing. We move on. Live for the day. Enjoy each moment of your life.

Hi,

Merry Christmas. Enjoy every moment in your life and try not to look back. Life is too short, live it.
